Hollymead is a popular neighborhood in northern Albemarle County and is home to Hollymead Elementary.  Homes were built between 1970 and the late 1990’s.  The subdivision is mostly single family homes but there are townhomes, condos and some apartments.  Prices in Hollymead range from the $200ks to mid $300’s.  There is an optional swim and tennis club.  Sidewalks run down the main road enabling kids to walk to school.  Sutherland Middle School is also located in across the street from Hollymead Elementary.  There is ample shopping close by at the Hollymead Town Center with Target, Kohls, Harris Teeter, Panera Bread and mulitple fast food options.
